Sobriety isn’t the point. The life you’re building is.

That’s why we don’t count days — days measure what you quit, not what you’re becoming.

I know that pain, though. The tracking, the bargaining, the Sunday-morning math about how much you had and whether anyone noticed — the quiet exhaustion of a thing that was supposed to be relaxing. I see you. We’re not staying there.

We’re after the skill underneath it — staying with yourself, and following through long enough to actually feel the change.

“I’m committed to showing up even when life gets messy.”

That’s the whole summer in one line. Five days, one small piece at a time. And the skill you build doesn’t stay in June — you carry it into your best chapter, and every messy thing that comes after.

Five days, one shift at a time

We meet live on Zoom each day at 4pm Pacific / 7pm Eastern. A short worksheet to take away, and a private WhatsApp group where we cheer each other on between sessions. Here’s where we go together.

Day 1

Naming the mess

What actually pulls at you — the 5 o’clock, the argument, the celebration, the boredom. We stop fearing the triggers and start seeing them clearly. You can’t change what you won’t look at.

Day 2

What’s happening in your body

The reaching isn’t weakness — it’s wiring. We’ll look at what your nervous system is actually doing when the urge rises, and why understanding it changes everything. This is the day a lot of women finally exhale.

Day 3

How you meet it

Life still gets messy. The difference is who you are when it does. We’ll work the mindset that lets you stay steady — taking responsibility without blame, accepting what you can’t control, and being willing before you feel ready.

Day 4

The woman you’re becoming

Who are you on the other side of this summer? We’ll spend this day living from her — not white-knuckling toward a someday version of you, but stepping into the one who already decided. This is the heart of how I teach.

Day 5

Bundling it together

We’ll gather the five days into something you can keep using long after the summer ends — and I’ll show you how to keep going with me inside Perspectives, my group program, if you’d like to. No pressure. Just an open door.

Hi, I’m Becca

I was a college professor for 20 years, and I suffered with alcohol throughout my career. I haven’t had a drink in years now. I spent a long time before that struggling quietly, alone, isolated — the way so many of us do. I know what it feels like.

I mentor women over 40 who are done with the wine-tired mornings. Not with shame, not with white-knuckling, and definitely not with counting. I teach the thing underneath the drinking — learning to stay steady when life gets messy. Because once you have that, it isn’t really about the alcohol anymore.

That’s what these five days are for. Come find out what you’re capable of this summer.
